Static Grass Tufts 12mm – Burnt Brown

Green Stuff World Static Grass Tufts 12mm – Burnt Brown (75pcs)

Add tall, sun-scorched scrub to your bases and terrain in seconds with these self-adhesive 12mm grass tufts. The Burnt Brown tone sells drought, late-summer heat, and campaign-worn verges that read clearly at tabletop distance. Perfect for Warhammer 40,000 settings like Tallarn patrol routes, Astra Militarum siege lines on desert worlds, Ork scrapyards, and weathered Adeptus Mechanicus yards, and equally at home across Age of Sigmar realmscapes from drought-struck Cities of Sigmar roadsides to Ogor Mawtribes hunting grounds, Kharadron docks, and relic-strewn ruins baked by the sun. Peel with tweezers, place, and press for instant height and movement. On rough cork, rubble, or vertical faces, add a tiny dab of PVA to lock them in for the long haul without edge lift.

Build layered, believable vegetation quickly for squads, cavalry, monsters, and large scenic bases. Use 12 mm as your tall canopy, then blend edges with 2 mm and 6 mm grasses to create natural verges, tramlines, and windblown patches, or spot in a few 10–12 mm strands on bigger bases for wild tufts breaking through cracks. Snip a few tips to vary the silhouette, splay the fibres for gusted motion, and tuck the tuft base under rocks, planks, or armour plates for a grown-through look. Dust lightly with pigments to tie everything into your board’s palette, then add leaf scatter, broken reeds, or a touch of water effect in low spots to suggest seasonal runoffs. For 40K, pair Burnt Brown with oil streaks, rust chips, and spent brass to sell a battlefield left to dry under harsh suns. For AoS, mix with cracked-earth paints, bone shards, and weathered timbers to frame shrine steps, frontier trails, and parched strongholds. Durable, beginner-friendly, and ideal for batch basing entire forces or refreshing terrain when you want tall, natural results that really pop on both 40K and AoS tables.
